Memorial Medical Center's experienced heart catheterization team performs procedures using balloons, stents and other devices to open blocked or repair damaged blood vessels of the heart or body. This often avoids the need for heart surgery.

Heart conditions can increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart attacks, stroke or loss of limbs.

Memorial Medical Center has three fully equipped catheterization labs that are well suited to accommodate both scheduled and emergent procedures. Our highly trained teams are able to perform both cardiac and peripheral procedures, and our catheterization labs operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In 2019, Memorial opened an exclusive patient preparation and recovery unit with specially trained staff to care for catheterization lab patients, both before and after their procedures.
