You are what you eat. Healthy eating is the foundation for good health. At Memorial Outpatient Dietitian Clinic, we strive to keep our community healthy through a holistic approach, which includes proper nutrition.
Patients can get an appointment at the Memorial Outpatient Dietitian Clinic through a referral from their primary care provider or another physician.

About Michael Mendoza, MS, RDN
Mr. Mendoza received his Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from New Mexico State University and is certified as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Coming to us from UMC El Paso, Mr. Mendoza served as both an inpatient and an outpatient dietitian. He calls Las Cruces home and is excited to join Memorial to serve the community as the outpatient dietitian.
Mr. Mendoza will provide individualized counseling and nutrition classes, provide continuity of care for patients moving from the inpatient to the outpatient setting, support our community providers with services to the Cancer Center, Cardiac Services, Wound Care, Memorial Amputation Prevention Program and the Wellness Center. Community providers may refer patients to Mr. Mendoza for counseling and education for diabetes, non-dialysis renal disease, obesity, cardiovascular health and rapid loss of weight due to cancer and other diseases.
