Memorial Medical Center Welcomes First Baby of 2025

LAS CRUCES, NM (Jan. 3, 2025) – Memorial Medical Center is ringing in 2025 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 5 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 17.5 inches long, Maydelin was born to proud parents Gema and Isaac at 1:26 p.m. on Jan. 1st.
Our labor and delivery team was thrilled to play a part in this special moment. "Helping families welcome their little ones is why we do what we do," shared Brianne Pfau, RN, Director of Labor & Delivery/NICU. "It’s always extra special when it’s the first baby of the year.
